Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of demantoid garnet from Italy!!! Let me start off by saying that these garnet crystals have choice, apple green color in person - these pictures do not capture just how good it is in person!!! These demantoid crystals are notoriously difficult to capture with digital photography - the color is gorgeous in person, a lively and characteristic bright apple green!!! The crystals are glassy and gemmy!!! The crystals are complete and undamaged!!! There is a small bump on the larger crystal is actually a tiny additional crystal on its surface!!! Simply gorgeous in person!!! This specimen is from the collection of Howard Belsky and retains his catalogue number on the reverse!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
