Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of demantoid garnet from Italy!!! This specimen hosts several complex crystals of demantoid garnet on a serpentine matrix!!! The demantoid crystals have sharp, complexly modified faces with gemmy clarity and characteristic lively green color!!! Classic old time material!!! This specimen retains an old label from the University of Texas as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
