Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic old time example of this rare species from Rhode Island!!! This specimen consists of a rich mass of
danalite that hosts significant areas of crystalline danalite in minor association with a
few tiny areas of purple fluorite!!! The danalite has deep red color and, although it is largely opaque,
there are numerous small areas that show marked clarity!!! Danalite is almost always found as amorphous grains or masses, with
crystalline material being quite rare!!! This specimen hosts
numerous significant crystal faces scattered throughout the specimen!!! This is a fantastic
example
of danalite from Rhode Island indeed!!!
