Malachite pseudomorph after Cuprite Chessy-les-Mines, Rhone, Rhone-Alpes, France 1.05cm x .86cm x .7cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of malachite after cuprite from this historic French locality!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, complexly modified compound crystal of cuprite that has been completely replaced by malachite!!! The crystal has sharp faces and is in fantastic condition all around!!! There is also a small amount of primary malachite and azurite in association as well!!! Classic, old time material!!!
