Description/Interesting Notes: A showy example of cuprite from the Congo!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of intergrown cuprite crystals in association with pale blue plancheite and lively green malachite!!! The cuprite crystals are present as large octahedral crystals in combination with complexly modified and etched octahedral cuprite crystals as well!!! The crystals have deep red color with sharp faces and bright glassy luster!!! The crystals show deep red color with areas of marked clarity as well!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
