Description/Interesting Notes: PLEASE NOTE: This is a special "Holiday Listing" and will be ending on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22nd A rare, old time example of cuprite and malachite from Chile!!! This specimen consists of a matrix covered on both sides with shiny botryoidal goethite that hosts complex crystals of deep red cuprite and lively green malachite!!! The cuprite has bright luster and very lively red color!!! This specimen retains two old labels from the Michigan College of Mines (the older of the two dating to before the name was changed in 1897!) as well as its original glass-lined specimen box!!!
