Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of cuprite from Zaire!!! This specimen hosts several showy crystals of cuprite on an attractive chrysocolla coated matrix!!! The cuprite crystals have razor-sharp faces with glassy luster and lively flashes of deep red color within!!! Most of the crystals are sharp, octahedral crystals although some of the smaller crystals exhibit some complex modifications or etching!!! The crystals are complete and undamaged!!!
