Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of cuprite with native copper from Cornwall!!! This specimen consists of a network of native copper crystals embedded within the matrix that is covered with complex, deep red crystals of cuprite!!! Upon close inspection one can see that the cuprite is present as complex networks of right-angled forms!!! The cuprite is much more crystalline than it appears in the pictures and the color is quite lively as well!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
