Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of cuprite on native copper from New Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a mass of native copper that hosts an impressive display of bright red cuprite crystals!!! The cuprite crystals are in magnificent condition with bright luster, marked clarity, and gorgeous deep ruby red color!!! The crystals exhibit highly complex cubic forms with unusually modified faces, elongated forms, and other curious features!!! This gorgeous old timer is just loaded with undamaged crystals that range in size to over 5mm!!! This is OLD material!!! This specimen retains an old, unattributed handwritten label as well as old labels from the Fisher and Cilen collections!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
