Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of cubanite from Washington!!! This specimen hosts a particularly rich showing of cubanite distributed throughout the matrix!!! There are significant networks of brassy-golden metallic cubanite visible on every side of this specimen!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one can see some highly complex crystalline features that differentiate it from other more "common" species!!! There is even more cubanite present than the pics show, because some of it is obscured by some staining - however in person it is easily discerned!!! Rare old time material!!! This specimen retains an old Ward's label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
