Native Copper pseudomorph after Azurite Georgetown District, Grant Co., New Mexico 3.25cm x 3.1cm x 1.35cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of this rare pseudomorph from New Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a large, complex crystal of azurite that has been completely replaced by native copper!!! Usually these specimens are comprised of thin, poorly defined blades - however this specimen is comprised by a large, sharply defined, thick, tabular crystal!!! This is a KILLER example of this rare classic material!!! This specimen displays stunningly all around and has a natural "base" of smaller pseudomorphic crystals!!! These specimens are highly sought after and examples of such quality are very scarce indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
