Description/Interesting Notes: A large and impressive example of native copper from Pennsylvania!!! This specimen consists of a thick, single piece of native copper in association with some quartz and calcite!!! The copper has a gorgeous patina with a lively metallic luster and an aesthetically varied hue with patches of slight iridescence!!! The native copper exhibits complex crystalline features throughout - as a result of having formed in close contact with the calcite and quartz crystal matrix!!! This specimen is quite showy and striking in person!!! This solid specimen is mostly comprised of native copper and weighs a hefty 585 grams!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
