Native Copper

Chino Mine, Santa Rita, Grant Co., New Mexico

2.76cm x 1.04cm x .75cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic example of native copper from New Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, highly complex, doubly terminated spinel-twin crystal of native copper from the characteristic one time find made in 2006!!! This specimen shows sharp, highly complex features with brilliant metallic luster and a handsome, slightly brassy patina!!! This specimen is complete and undamaged all around!!! The specimen is extremely well crystallized with sharp, brilliantly metallic faces all over the specimen - it is simply incredible upon close inspection with a loupe or scope!!! These unique native copper crystals are no doubt future classics!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JUNE 13th!!!
