Description/Interesting Notes: An unusual example of quartz with blue cookeite from this curiously named locality!!! This specimen consists of an elongated quartz crystal that has some pseudocubic modifications and appears to be almost rectangular!!! The crystal has sharp, glassy faces and translucent to gemmy clarity!!! One end is incomplete but aside from that the specimen is in fantastic condition!!! This locality is known for its unusual blue cookeite crystals!!! This specimen hosts numerous balls of slightly pearlescent cookeite that have a light, sky blue color!!!
