East Colusa Mine, Butte, Butte District, Silver Bow Co., Montana

4.82cm x 4.2cm x 2.14cm

Ex. Prof. E. William Heinrich Collection,
University of Michigan

Description/Interesting Notes:

PLEASE NOTE: This is a special "Holiday Listing" and will be ending on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 28th

A fantastic example of this rare species from the type locality in Butte!!! This extremely rich specimen is comprised almost entirely of colusite with just a small amount of quartz in association!!! This specimen hosts numerous crudely crystalline forms, however there is one crystal tucked in a small vug that is incredibly well formed for the locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Heinrich Collection!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED THURSDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING TUESDAY DECEMBER 28th!!!
