Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of columbite-tantalite from the Etta Mine in South Dakota!!! This specimen hosts a large and impressive crystal of columbite-tantalite on matrix!!! The crystal exhibits sharply defined, highly complex features and appears to exhibit sharply defined twinning as well!!! The crystal has sharp, lustrous faces with some faces featuring handsome striations as well!!! This is a KILLER example of the species for the locality!!! This is OLD material!!!
