Coloradoite with Native Gold in Quartz

Bessie G Mine, La Plata District (California District), La Plata Co., Colorado

4.24cm x 4.06cm x 2.17cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic example of coloradoite with native gold from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of brightly metallic, silvery coloradoite in association with minor accents of native gold!!! There is also a small crude crystal of coloradoite that is partially coated with native gold as well!!! There are numerous veins throughout the specimen that appear to host some chalcopyrite in intimate association with coloradoite and possibly some other tellurides!!! There are also some cavities with crystalline quartz!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY FEBRUARY 25TH!!!
