Description/Interesting Notes: An old, rare locality example of cinnabar from Japan!!! This specimen consists of a mass of cinnabar in association with a small amount of intergrown matrix!!! There are tiny red grains of crystalline material as well!!! This specimen retains an old Cilen Collection label as well as an antique Japanese label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
