Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of chrysoberyl from Brazil!!! This specimen consists of a unique, chrysoberyl crystal that exhibits characteristic sixling twinning!!! This crystal has a unique, highly complex surfaces and translucent yellowish color!!! Looking at the specimen from the side the crystal has a curious lemon shaped form, however when viewed down the c-axis the crystal exhibits COMPLETE sixling twinning!!! This is a very unique and intruiging example of the species indeed!!! This specimen came from the collection of Neal Yedlin and retains his original acrylic mount with handwritten label as well!!!
