Chlorargyrite Broken Hill, Yancowinna Co., New South Wales, Australia 4.5cm x 3.5cm x 2.1cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of chlorargyrite from this classic locality!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of solid chlorargyrite!!! The chlorargyrite is present as complex, contiguous, masses of grayish color with varying luster!!! In person the specimen is much more impressive than the pics show!!! Upon close inspection, there appears to be some iodargyrite present at the core (the lighter, more translucent iodargyrite is much more apparent in person)!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
