Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of chalcopyrite from Butte!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of quartz crystals that hosts a pair of striking chalcopyrite crystals!!! The crystals are highly complex with fascinating etching and wonderful iridescent patina!!! There is also a small amount of sphalerite in association!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of well known Butte collector and scholar, Bob Jenkins and retains his original label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
