Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of chalcocite and bornite from this famed historic locality!!! This specimen consists of a mass of solid chalcocite and bornite from an old copper mine in a region much better known for its diamonds!!! This is an old specimen that dates to the 19th century!!! This specimen retains an old affixed label as well as an old label from the A.E. Seaman Museum!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
