Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of chalcocite from this historic Connecticut locale!!! This specimen consists of highly complex cluster of chalcocite crystals in association with a small amount of calcite, quartz, and bornite!!! The crystals exhibit complex forms with sharply defined features and metallic luster with lively iridescent blue highlights!!! This specimen presents impressive displays of complex crystals from nearly every side!!! This specimen is much more crystalline and complete than the pictures show!!! Upon close inspection one can see microcrystalline bornite in the brilliantly iridescent recesses!!! These historic specimens date well into the 19th century!!! Classic old time material!!!
