Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutley magnificent example of chalcocite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of two conjoined, highly complex crystals of chalcocite in association with an unidentified white mineral!!! While this would be a terrific chalcocite crystal from any locality, this is a KILLER for Tsumeb!!! Chalcocite crystals from Tsumeb are rather scarce and are often only encountered as tiny unimpressive crystals - however this specimen hosts a pair of large and sharply formed crystals!!! Both crystals are terminated and this specimen displays fantastically in person!!! Examples of Tsumeb chalcocite like this are next to impossible to find!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
