Cavansite with Stilbite Owyhee Dam, Lake Owyhee State Park, Malheur Co., Oregon 3.74cm x 2.57cm x 1.48cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species from the type locality!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of bright turquoise blue cavansite crystals across its face!!! The cavansite consists of intergrown sprays of crystals in association with several small blades of stilbite!!! These specimens came from small finds made nearly 50 years ago and are only rarely encountered on the market today!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! STAY TUNED!!!
