Description/Interesting Notes: A unique and wonderfully aesthetic example of cavansite from India!!! While cavansite specimens are somewhat common - this particular specimen is very unusual compared to the overwhelming majority of them!!! Most cavansite specimens consist of the characteristic balls, or clusters of balls - however this specimen hosts a rich showing of intensely colored cavansite crystals that exhibit an almost jack-straw like habit!!! The overall aesthetic is completely different and the crystals (perhaps due to their unusual form) have a particularly bright and intense blue color!!! This specimen is simply stunning in person!!!
