Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of cassiterite from the Czech Republic!!! This specimen hosts several crystals of lustrous, dark brown cassiterite on matrix!!! The cassiterite crystals have areas of slight clarity and exhibit characteristic twinning as well!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that there are numerous tiny crystals of translucent whitish apatite perched on the surfaces of the cassiterite crystals!!! This specimen is from the University of Delaware Mineralogical Museum and retains an old Boubee label as well!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
