Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of cassiterite from Cornwall!!! This specimen hosts numerous sharp, highly lustrous crystals of cassiterite on matrix in association with a small amount of greenish clinochlore!!! The crystals have bright glassy luster and some small areas of brownish clarity!!! The crystals show highly complex forms with razor sharp faces!!! This specimen is quite handsome in person!!! This specimen came from old museum stock!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
