Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of mimetite var. campylite from England!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of complex mimetite var. campylite crystals across its face!!! The crystals are highly lustrous and have rich reddish orange color!!! The crystals exhibit the characteristic habit that is so distinctive of this unique mimetite varietal!!! There are also a number of juxtaposed, linear cavities among the crystals which are no doubt the result of a long since dissolved species!!! There are some small, complexly altered blades of barite present as well!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
