Calcite with Native Copper & Cuprite

Bisbee, Warren District, Mule Mts, Cochise Co., Arizona

8.6cm x 8cm x 6.24cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic example of calcite with native copper and cuprite from Bisbee!!! This specimen consists of a heavy, dense mass of deep red cuprite, intergrown with native copper that plays host to a rich showing of sharp, gemmy, glassy calcite crystals that hosts numerous inclusions of native copper with native copper crystals jutting out all over the place!!! There are also areas of included cuprite and green malachite as well!!! The calcite crystals are in magnificent condition and because they are so fine, they were difficult to capture in the photos - howevet this specimen is simply magnificent in person!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY MAY 23rd!!!
