Calcite Tsumeb, Namibia 10.3cm x 8.6cm x 3.6cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent cluster of calcite crystals from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a very showy cluster of razor sharp rhombs of calcite!!! The crystals are present both as single rhombs and complexly stepped crystals intergrown in an aesthetic manner!!! The crystals are highly lustrous and range in clarity from opaque to very translucent!!! There is a small amount of quartz matrix on the reverse as well as a minor amount of green duftite!!! This specimen is complete and pristine!!! This is a superb Tsumeb calcite in every respect (we acquired this specimen several years ago when we acquired part of the Uli Baumann Tsumeb collection)!!!
