Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of calcite, galena, and marcasite from this seldom represented historic locality!!! This specimen consists of a matrix that is covered with sharply crystallized, brassy golden marcasite crystals that hosts numerous complex crystals of steel-gray galena, tiny black crystals of sphalerite, and incredible, gemmy, glassy crystals of calcite!!! The highly complex galena crystals almost appear to have donuts of marcasite pushed up around them and they also have accents of marcasite crystal scattered on top of them as well!!! The calcite crystals are EXCEPTIONAL!!! The calcite crystals consist of highly complex, glassy, gemmy crystals that are aesthetically perched atop marcasite and galena crystals!!! The calcite crystals are pristine and undamaged!!! This is an INCREDIBLE specimen from this old historic locality!!! These old time beauties are rareley encountered on today's market!!!
