Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare gold telluride from Colorado!!! This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that hosts a rich showing of brilliantly metallic calaverite crystals!!! The crystals have a wonderful tin-white silver hue with a hint of yellow!!! The bottom of this specimen has been cut and shows a network of tiny metallic crystals scattered throughout the matrix!!! This specimen was actually part of a single larger specimen that came from the collection of Joe Cilen (who had acquired it from the Edna Doughty Collection)!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
