Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of calaverite from Colorado!!! This specimen consists of a characteristic matrix, speckled with purple fluorite, that hosts numerous complex crystals of calaverite!!! There calaverite crystals have brilliant metallic luster and range from silver in color to deep golden!!! In addition to the crystals there are tiny masses distributed throughout the matrix!!! This specimen was originally part of an old Seaman Museum specimen!!! The pics hardly do it justice, must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
