Cahnite Fuka mine, Bitchu-cho, Takahashi, Okayama Prefecture, Chugoku Region, Honshu Island, Japan 3cm x 1.6cm x 1.2cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare locality example of this very rare species!!! These Japanese cahnite specimens were limited to just a scant handful of specimens, nearly all of which now reside in collections in Japan!!! This specimen was acquired through famed dealer Alfredo Petrov who had a triple digit price tag on this specimen (and for those unfamilar, Alfredo is well known for having some of the fairest prices around!)!!! This specimen consists of a vuggy matrix that hosts numerous submillimeter crystals (and larger crystal groups) of cahnite!!! The complex crystals and transparent color made it nearly impossible to photograph - however it is incredible in person!!! Don't miss out on this rare opportunity!!!
