Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific old time example of bustamite from Broken Hill!!! This specimen consists of complexly intergrown crystals of gemmy bustamite in association with galena, sphalerite, and calcite!!! The bustamite crystals range in size to well over 5cm long and have glassy luster, gemmy clarity and rich characteristic color!!! This is OLD material from Broken Hill!!! This specimen is from the University of Delaware Mineral Museum and retains a label and affixed catalogue number as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
