Braunite pseudomorph after Pyrite Gottes Geschick, Graul, Langenberg, Schwarzenberg District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany 7.52cm x 6.5cm x 5.15cm Ex. Freiberg Academy No. 267

Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare, old time pseudomorph of braunite after pyrite from Germany!!! This specimen consists of a complex cluster of cubic pyrite crystals that have been completely replaced by braunite in association with a small amount of microcrystalline quartz!!! The specimen is well crystllized, much more so than the pics show!!! The specimen is literally loaded with crystals that are visible on almost every side!!! This is a very rare pseudomorph combination in addition to being a terrific old timer!!! This specimen retains old labels from the Freiberg Academy dating to the early 1900's and also retains its label from the pseudomorph collection of Fred Parker!!!
