Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of bornite from Butte!!! This specimen consists of an aesthetic combination of brassy golden pyrite crystals capped by complex crystals of bornite and paired with sharp, lustrous, quartz crystals!!! The bornite is well crystallized and looks rather handsome in combination with the pyrite!!! To top it off, the quartz crystals host an impressive group of iridescent, royal purple inclusions of bornite!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays terrifically in person!!!
