Boleite Collection Amelia Mine, Santa Rosalía (El Boleo), Baja California Sur, Mexico from 5mm to 7.5mm 24 specimens!

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific collection of rare boleite crystals from Mexico!!! This is a collection of 24 individual boleite crystal specimens in a specifically suited case!!! Curiously, we have encountered a few of these such boleite collections over the years, all in the same kind of cases although we have not been able to determine where these cases came from!!! The material dates to the 1970's Ed Swaboda-era and the specimens exhibit some highly complex intergrown clusters of cubic crystals with octahedral modifications!!! There are cubic crystals and cubo-octahedral crystals, as well as interpenetrant crystals, and crystals associated with matrix and anglesite!!! There are 24 individual specimens in the group although I did not individually photograph every one!!! The crystals are sharp, lustrous, and exhibit rich royal blue color!!! There are a number of crystals that actually show marked gemminess with some backlighting as well!!! This is a very fine group of crystals indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
