Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of pseudoboleite and boleite on matrix from the type locality!!! Matrix specimens of boleite are very rare indeed - with true, unstabilized examples being quite scarce!!! This specimen consists of a solid, rigid matrix of massive anglesite and paratacamite that hosts a rich showing of exceptionally high quality examples of pseudoboleite on boleite crystals!!! The boleite crystals all have epitaxial growths of pseudoboleite on their faces - in many of the smaller crystals the pseudoboleite is so substantial that they resemble squared-off cumengeite sixlings!!! The crystals are exceptionally lustrous and gemmy in person!!! The crystals simply do not get any more lustrous and the main crystal is loaded with flashes of gemminess!!! Upon close examination this specimen is simply amazing - I do not remember the last time I saw such significant pseudoboleite!!! The pics do not even come close to doing it justice!!!
