Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of native bismuth from this historic Canadian locality!!! This specimen hosts numerous areas of native bismuth scattered throughout and across the matrix!!! The native bismuth is present as complex networks of crystalline bismuth on various surfaces across the matrix!!! What is most striking about this old time specimen however, is the intense and showy rainbow iridescence of the native bismuth!!! The complex, broad networks of brilliantly metallic native bismuth exhibit an amazing, intense rainbow colored iridescence in person!!! The pics don't even come close to capturing just how dynamic it is in person!!! This specimen retains old labels from the collection of J. Cilen and Bob Jenkins as well!!!
