Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent example of this rare beryllium species from Kazakhstan!!! This specimen hosts numerous large, lustrous, and pristine crystals of bertrandite atop a matrix of rhodochrosite and smoky quartz!!! The rhodochrosite crystals have a complex, flattened habit and the smoky quartz crystal is gemmy and pristine!!! Providing even more contrast are numerous small, sharp crystals of sphalerite and a minor accent of pyrite!!! Not only is this an incredible example of this rare species - with bertrandite crystals to over 2cm, it is a wonderfully aesthetic one as well!!!
