Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare, old time example of azurite from Franklin!!! Azurite is quite uncommon at Franklin, and examples of crystalline
azurite are very rare indeed!!! While the great majority of azurite specimens seen from Franklin could best be described as
blue "stains", this specimen actually hosts significant areas of deep, royal blue, crystalline azurite!!! In person one
can see highly complex crystalline features with marked luster throughout the main areas of azurite!!! There are numerous
other areas of azurite scattered about the specimen as well!!! The reverse of the specimen hosts a number of submillimeter azurite crystals that
are quite sharp and highly lustrous as well!!! Rare old time material!!!
