Azurite and Malachite on Cuprian Smithsonite with Tsumebite Tsumeb, Namibia 4.6cm x 4.6cm x 3.1cm Ex. Sunshine Acres School Mineral Collection Ex. Neil A. Wintringham Collection

Description/Interesting Notes: This old time Tsumeb beauty hosts a sharp malachite pseudomorph after azurite with smaller azurite crystals in association perched on a matrix of light green cuprian smithsonite in association with rare bright green TSUMEBITE (much rarer than its arsenate analogue)!!! The tsumebite crystals are sharp and substantial!!! The azurite is razor-sharp and glassy!!! The malachite after azurite pseudomorph is complete and accented by numerous thin, glassy blue crystals of azurite on its surface!!! This is an absolutely killer old time Tsumeb beauty!!! Simply magnificent in person!!! This specimen retains old labels from the Sunshine Acres School (a very "unique" fully accredited private school - circa 1939, it was part of the nation's first Nudist colony), and the Wintringham Collection!!!
