Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of azurite from this historic locality!!! This specimen hosts numerous, rich royal blue balls of azurite on a darkly colored matrix!!! The crystals have wonderful luster and are quite striking against the jet-black matrix!!! The pics hardly capture just how handsome this old time beauty is!!! This specimen retains old labels from Michigan Technological University (currently A.E. Seaman Museum) and Dr. A. Krantz!!!
