Azurite

Miedzianka (Kupferberg), Jelenia Góra District, Rudawy Janowickie Mts, Lower Silesia (Dolnoslaskie), Poland

6.35cm x 4.06cm x 2.48cm

Ex. Dr. A. Krantz

Ex. A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum,
(Michigan College of Mines)

Description/Interesting Notes:

An old time, rare locality example of azurite from Poland!!! This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that hosts a colorful showing of tiny, royal blue azurite crystals in association with a small amount of malachite!!! Upon close inspection, the azurite crystals are quite well formed, consisting of small, highly lustrous, tabular crysals with gemmy clarity and intense blue color!!! This specimen retains old labels from Dr. A. Krantz and the Michigan College of Mines (A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum) as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JULY 15th!!!
