Description/Interesting Notes: A unique and aesthetic combination of malachite after azurite and azurite from Morocco!!! This striking specimen consists of an elongated, complex crystal of malachite after azurite aesthetically perched in front of a cluster of juxtaposed, gemmy blades of intense, royal blue azurite crystals!!! The malachite after azurite pseudomorph shows bright green color, sharply defined features, and marked luster!!! The network of gemmy azurite crystals is attached at the bottom end of the long malachite after azurite crystal and appears to gently curl around it - the overall affect is quite striking in person!!! A very showy and unique specimen indeed!!! This specimen is from the lifelong personal collection of Frank & Wendy Melanson!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
