Description/Interesting Notes: An outstanding example of azurite with malachite from Mexico!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pictures show!!! This specimen is loaded with razor sharp, gem clear, intense blue crystals of azurite, many of which have been partially or completely altered to lively green malachite!!! The azurite crystals from this locality are quite characteristic, consisting of sharp, gem clear prismatic blades that jut prominently from the matrix!!! On this specimen, even the malachite pseudomorphs show marked translucence which gives them a stunning green glow!!! The partially pseudomorphed crystals are also quite stunning, having gemmy blue terminations!!! The crystals are razor sharp and the specimen host a very rich showing of these stunning crystals in addition to an unidentified light green acicular crystals in close association and a few areas of an unidentified turquoise colored species!!! This specimen is simply gorgeous in person and full of astonishing crystal-scapes upon close examination!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
