A classic, old time example of azurite from the Copper Queen Mine!!! This specimen consists of an aesthetic, sculptural grouping of rounded crystal-covered forms
of azurite!!! The specimen has intense royal blue color and is intensely sparkly, almost wet-looking, in person (in fact, the camera had difficulty not showing it as over-exposed!)!!!
There is also a minor association with black tenorite and, where one can see into the core, there are the
classic concentric bands of malachite!!! This specimen retains an old Jirgl Collection label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Classic material - gorgeous!!!
