Arsenopyrite on Quartz with Jamesonite

Príbram, Central Bohemia Region, Bohemia, Czech Republic

6.73cm x 6.35cm x 2.91cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic, old time example of arsenopyrite from this historic European locality!!! This specimen consists of a striking showing of sharp, brilliantly metallic arsenopyrite crystals in aesthetic association with radiating groups of lustrous quartz crystals!!! The arsenopyrite crystals have sharp terminations and an attractive slightly brassy silver hue!!! The crystals are razor sharp and have mirror brilliance!!! The quartz crystals are quite impressive themselves - consisting of sharp, lustrous crystals arranged in divergent groups of radiating crystals!!! Upon close inspection here are also several areas of fine, needle-like crystals of jamesonite present as well!!! OLD material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JANUARY 13th!!!
